I was offered a job today with Teleperformance working technical support for Centurylink Data.  The pay starts at $9.00 an hour.  In two months I go to $10 and in six months I go to $10.50.   The company offers free basic medical, dental and vision insurance after 6 months and matches dollar for dollar for the first $1,500 in a 401K package.  Based on $10 an hour that comes out to about 100% match at about 7%.  There is also a performance pay of up to $2 an hour.  Overtime is permitted and sometimes the norm.  There is no penalty for getting sick or of life’s emergencies.   There are 7 paid holidays though the company is open 365 days a year.  Paid time off is also based on performance and able to earn up to 13 days a year.

So I get to do what I do best, troubleshoot for a data company and I get paid rather well to do it with all things considered.  I can say, life is good…
