I went to the doc today. My cholesterol is OK but not good. The bad cholesterol is high and the good cholesterol is low. Overall, 183. I didn’t see my regular doc at the VA, he was on vacation. I got to see an American doc, now that was nice. He immediately increased my simvastatin to 40. I asked Kakani to do it last time and was told no, I was going to do it through diet and exercise. I have already totally cut out beef and eat pork on rare occasion. I eat so much poultry I cluck and gobble. I gained about seven pounds since my last visit. I weighed in at 250. I explained my issue with my left hand and dramatically demonstrated the latest development with it. I’ve lost some feeling in the pinkie and ring fingers and lost some mobility. I made the boy scout hand salute with my right hand and then demonstrated the claw like attempt to make it with my left. We talked about the nerve induction test in 2010 and at that time, I had lost feeling on the ulner nerve but mobility was normal. I asked if the demonstration now was normal, he said no. I then told him about the spiking pain like nails in the left side of my head coming and going. He reviewed the x-rays from 2010 and put me in for an orthopaedic consult and told me, it’s probably going to be a surgical procedure. He asked me how long I have had the problem. I let him know that I’ve hard problems since 91 and claimed the arm with the VA since the beginning and was denied because I had full strength. He looked at me and said 20 years. I made him smile, he asked me if the buprofien was working and I said when I took it like I was supposed to, yes.

I’ve started technical monitors at work now with an other agent. We work opposite shifts, so I am back on the three 12 and 1 4 hour day. However, I did not get my bonus this paycheck. I reminded someone that we had a gentleman’s agreement about it and was told that a check would be cut. but I may need to make a decision as it might go away if I am not taking calls. The money is not there. Then I was told by one of the ACMs that it was an oversight and he said we did good work and something would be worked out. We’ll see.

Gifnet.US has gotten a tune up. I’ve rewritten the quotes and counter apps. The guestbook has been updated but I have plans to completely rewrite it as well. I have plans to add Additional functionality to all three apps on the site. Once I’ve worked this out and gotten the needed development time using the “new” tools, I have plans to develop another site professionally.

I talked with Cassie for a little while today before her phone died. She’s been ordered to loose 35 pounds. She has a “fatty” liver and that in and of itself is not an issue but it can be a precursor to cancer.

That should catch things up for now.
