So it’s been over 5 weeks since I have posted anything new.
Well here’s the update…
I finished training at my new job 2nd in my class and got the pick of the shifts. I am working Sunday through Tuesday from 0700 to 1930 and on Wednesday from 0700 to 1330. I been doing that now for the last two weeks. I’ve been get a $1.50 bonus since the 5th week of training. And I got my first full bonus of $2.00 an hour last week. I have almost 100% adherence to my schedule. There was one small hiccup in the first week but I have become totally anal to it since that is the fastest way off of the phones and up into the company. I am on the fast track according to everything I was told in training and in orientation.
I gained about 8 pounds since I saw the doctor from July 16 through August 15th. I hit the diet seriously and have lost that plus another four pounds since then. I weigh in today at 231. Five days ago, I was 232.6. 229 will is amjor milestone for me and I hope to get down to 210. I have plans for a tread mill that will g et me there and perhaps even lower. I’ve pretty much cut out the buffets much to my wife’s dismay since she likes the variety. But what the hey, she will have to adapt since I have finally decided to do something about my addiction to food. I have completely altered my diet now. I am full of whole grains, fruits and poultry. I eat little to no beef or pork. My doctor would like to see me give up meat completely, but that will never happen. My cholesterol level was 254, down from 299. He added a statin to my regime. I was scheduled to see him again in October but that had to be moved to December because of s scheduling conflict with work.
I’m wearing glasses again though they are not actually required like I used to be. There was a small adjustment and I now also have bi-focal lenses. It’s that age thing. I still need a decent pair of glasses for reading and using the computer. That will come soon enough since I am on Pam’s vision plan and I get my own insurance in about 4 months for free.
I headed down south to Marksville two weeks ago and mowed down three feet of grass. It took a day and a half to get all the yard work done but done it was. I head back again in about thee weeks to start the monthly maintenance again now that I have my mower back.
I haven’t touched Nutri Master in over two months now and that sucks. I am going to try and get some work done on it this weekend and starting every weekend from now on. It should not be that difficult since I am now on a regular schedule at work
I believe that catches everything up. I also plan on doing some more updates more often now that things have settled down in a normal routine.
