My wife and life…

I finally managed to convince my wife to go to the doctor today.  She has rheumatoid arthritis.  She will be doing as she is told from this point forward whether she likes it or not.  She was told today that it can take 10 to 15 years off of her life if it is left untreated.  My friend Janette has it and I watched her go from a strong workaholic to being in pain every day, barely able to move.  She thought she was just tired from working but she learned   My wife can be pig headed but now she has no choice if she wants peace in the house.  She will take her medicine and she will follow her doctor’s instructions to the letter. I love my wife

I have not touched Nutri Master since my last post on the 25th.  That needs to change and will. I am tired of not working on the things that I want

I hit 230.2 pounds yesterday.  I have decided to make even more radical changes to my diet.  I will be cutting out animal protein almost completely.  I will be changing my diet at lunch to completely eliminate animal protein.  I normally eat dark meat chicken, that will change to white meat chicken.  While my doctor would like to see me adopt a vegetarian diet and that may still happen, I just don’t see myself completely giving up animal protein.  I see him again in December to see where I am at with the cholesterol levels.

We went to Marksville last weekend.  I mowed the grass and to build a runoff ditch so the garage would quit flooding out.  I did not realize that Sean did not grade the place properly to drain away from the garage when I brought in top soil.  It sits about three inches lower than the rest of the yard now.  I will make the ditch look pretty with the rocks from the garden area just outside the back pork.  I started clearing it of all the rocks in it and will be moving the other rocks next trip.

I explained to Pam that I want to retire permanently in Marksville.  I like it there and I will make the place our’s

I think that catches everything up so for now, until next time.
