The move of TheGifnet.Com and it’s associated domains to their new home has been completed.  The front end and my personal blog are up and running as you can tell if you are reading this.  I decided to dump my old hosting comapny becuase of performance issues and lack of a professional support department.  I ws getting delays of over 30 seconds for apps to run.  Support’s answer was increase the max delay.  Over 30 seconds is just ridiculous.  I have a more even path of upgrade with the new host, unlimited storage and bandwidth as well as unlimited email.  The services are running on a shared server but instead of jumping straight to a dedicated server I have other steps between that.

I still need to work on getting the old blog working again but that should be done today.  The move of the WP was seamless.  I moved the content to the new server, made a few changes in a config file and changed DNS entries and here we are!
