I just spent the last two hour organizing the video and pictures from my phone.  Now I just need to process it and put some stuff up here.  When will that happen, who knows but some time in the relatively near future.

I took Loki to the vet today for he annual shots and check up.  She’s put on some weight even though I cut her chow back.  She’s 76 pounds now.  She still isn’t fat but she’s definitely gotten stouter.  I need to take bolt cutters to her old choke collar.  I couldn’t get it off of her and neither could the vet.  It’s still not so tight as to bother her and I can still get two fingers in it so it’s not pressing but will need to get done relatively soon.  She’s nine years old now.  I had some woman tell me today that she had a German shepherd that lived to be 19 years old.  I heard her tell the vet the same thing and  I could hear the disbelief and doubt in her voice the same that was in my mind.  Loki is considered geriatric now.  Not that she acts like it.  Still just a big puppy dog.  Now that it is cooler outside, I am going to let her spend some more time outside again.

Work is work.  I am running quality improvement logs.  It’s the software I wrote for the company.  The big boss has told me that I don’t have to worry about my bonus.  So that will take me to $12.65 an hour.  Bonus is paid once a month on the 22nd of the month.  We are paid twice monthly now instead of every other week.  starting nest year I only get 40 hours of vacation time and raises go to once a year.  I am still capped at $12.  I asked the big boss where he saw me with the company and he started talking about web development and systems analyst but not working for the acc0unt I am on now.  He said I could most likely get a job based out of different site but still work out of Shreveport.  We do work in this type of environment now.

We are planning something for the end of the month.  It’s our 2nd anniversary and we both have 9 days off.  New Orleans again perhaps.  Money is tight but I can make it work out.
