It’s Thursday about 3:00.  I just came in from the backyard, play with Loki and checking out the garden.  The romas have some decent size tomatoes on them and the other other tomatoes are starting to produce.  One of the squash plats is starting to produce as well.  The bell peppers have blossoms as well as some of the hot pepper plants.  The onions are doing well and the white onions are starting to peek their green shoot up in the both areas.  We got a good rain last night right when the garden needed it and may get some more today as well.  I moved Mr. Owl around today and hopefully he will do a better job of keeping off the birds.

Vic, the training department manager gave me some more insight as to what the account is looking at at trying to do.  They are expanding the number of agents soon and expect that they will need another Work Force Manager.  They would also include duties for database development and maintenance.  Hence a position hopefully that would come to me as I am the most qualified to do that type of work.  Patience as well as time will tell if the application I developed for them will pay off in a position paying more than what I am currently making on the phones including the bonuses I have been getting consistently now.  My base is $10.50 but with bonuses I have been making $12 an hour.

Pam and I talked about our plans for our vacation today.  We looked at the route from here to Las Vegas and I figured the cost in gas vs. flying straight to Vegas and renting a car.  It is more cost effective even at $4.50 a gallon to drive.  We can also take our time and stop at various places on the way.  I-40 runs parallel to Historical U.S. 66 as well as runs across the Continental Divide.  I think Pam would enjoy the trip but it is still a month away.

My plans for this weekend are to be lazy at home.  I will take care of a couple of projects but for the most part will be either in front oof the computer or TV.
