On October 20, the VA finally took full responsibility for my entire back, from the base of my spine to the tip of my head.  I’ve been granted 100% disability, Permanent and Total with no father examines needed.  It took almost two years to get the documentation together with visits, strictly with the VA hospital when I started the effort to go from 70% to 100% and five months from the time I filed the claim.  

Two and half years has been a long time coming but now I’m financially secure without having to work for the rest of my life.  Now it’s time to decide just when I plan on retiring.  I like the idea of bringing 6 figures but for how much longer do I care to work before I desire to get up when I want and delete the three alarms on my that get me to work in the AM.
