End of the Utah Road Trip

The road trip bringing Cassie home ended Monday afternoon. We rolled in to Bossier late Saturday night. We celebrated Pat’s 81st birthday party with a fish fry Sunday. We had planned on leaving first thing Monday morning for Marksville but something I ate made me violently ill around 0430. We didn’t end up leaving until around 1400. It put us back in Marksville around 1730. To late for the helper at the end of the line to come unload. No issue, trailer didn’t need to be back until Wednesday.

Ok, ass wipe didn’t show up Tuesday because it was raining or so Cassie was told. U Haul says if not back will have to charge. He shows up first thing this morning, Wednesday, and works his ass off to get it done. So Cassie liked him because he worked his ass off. We go straight to the U Haul place, charged Cassie $40, $10 an hour every hour past 0800. And to add insult to injury, the ass wipe at the beginning didn’t take off the dolly that he forgot to put in. Cassie is on the war path. Going to light U Haul up

So here I sit at my desk in my office, with my first road trip towing the equivalent of a 20 foot trailer under my belt. Cassie mentioned today that my backup skills were improving. They’re just coming back and they need a lot of work but they are still there.
