The 2nd Amendment

The 2nd Amendment is in full force in my household. I now own the Aero Precision AR15 M4E1. As I have said before, I am truly concerned about what’s coming after the election in November, no matter who wins.

But more about the rifle itself. I got a good deal on it, MSRP is $989, I got it at Pookie’s Archery and Guns for $850. And I didn’t have to pay for the background check, sweet! Picked up an inexpensive set of backup sights to use until I can decide on optics. Would have gotten iron sights but Pookie says there’s a shortage on them since the industry is putting all the metal into making barrels right now to keep up with demand. I will eventually replace them with iron sites. As you can tell, I’m already thinking about mods, the upper only has one rail, so no light or laser sights. Looking forward to firing it but, first things first. Going to learn to break it down and assemble it and become intimately familiar with the weapon before firing it for the first time.

I haven’t fired a mil spec rifle since I got out of the service in 92. 28 years, I’ve shot my Ruger 10/22 rifle along with my Beretta 92 more than once, but it’s not the same as a rifle that shoots 5.56 caliber rounds. One more tactical weapon and my personal arsenal will be complete, looking into a tactical shot gun. And maybe I’ll mod my Ruger 10/22 to look scary so the Demtards get scared!
