Got a new battery for the lawn mower today.\u00a0 It started up like a champ and ran\u00a0 great.\u00a0 I tried turning on the desk and nothing.\u00a0 I threw up my hands and just gave up.\u00a0 Jerry was next door in the back yard.\u00a0 He bee lined over and asked what was wrong.\u00a0 I told him I got a new battery and it ran great but the desk would not engage.\u00a0 He came up and took one look and said the belt had slipped off.\u00a0 I had checked the side pulleys but not the front one.\u00a0 So off I go and got the front yard done.\u00a0 I started the back yard but couldn’t finish because of the rain.<\/p>\n
I made a couple of enhancements to the counter program and spent the rest of the day working on transferring the old blog here.\u00a0 I’ve got from September through December of 09 in.\u00a0 They are still in draft so no one can see them but me.<\/p>\n
Work is interesting and possibilities will be presenting themselves in the very near future.\u00a0 The time and effort spent on getting the Improvement Log system up and running over the last year and the hard press since September is starting to pay off.\u00a0 I have a new title, I’m called a feedback analyst.\u00a0 Effectively, I’m working Quality Control.\u00a0 Now that we have the capability to listen to the calls that the agents are getting logs on I can respond to what actually happened instead of taking the work of the person who entered the log.\u00a0 Eric and I had a meeting with Vic.\u00a0 Vic was promoted to Training Department Manager.\u00a0 He’s pitching the idea to the client that we take over the entire improvement log channel.\u00a0 We would be monitoring other call centers including Tier 2 and IDS as well as another vendor if it flies.\u00a0 We were both told that he would help us go down the path of any opportunity we choose as they present themselves.\u00a0 Work is good.<\/p>\n
I’m concerned about Nestle.\u00a0 He’s eighteen now and starting to have problems with urinating in the box.\u00a0 He can’t squat all the way down so he sprays some out onto the floor.\u00a0 Other than that the little turd ball is fine.\u00a0 Pam thinks he spaces out from time to time.\u00a0 Hell, who woldn’t at his age.\u00a0 I found a cat years calculator and the little fur ball is 89 years old!\u00a0 Sparky is Sparky.\u00a0 I still think of Lawry from time to time.\u00a0 She was 14 when she passed.\u00a0 That’s 73.\u00a0 It’s hard to believe she’s been gone four years now.\u00a0 And I have been back home in Louisiana just as long.\u00a0 Time sure does seem to slip away from us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
