It’s been a while since I’ve written.\u00a0 The web site has gone through an update and for the most part is done.\u00a0 I’ve learned a lot from doing the update.\u00a0 What is bad is that I could have been learning more about web development starting about 7 years ago when I first got VS2005.\u00a0 I am a application db developer and configured it for that type of development.\u00a0 I did not realize that it could be reconfigured for web development.\u00a0 I had that epiphany about a week ago and realize the 7 years of the dark ages, much like the 800 years or so of the Dark Ages.<\/p>\n
Work has changed up a little for me.\u00a0 I am more involved in training now that I have\u00a0been.\u00a0 First two weeks of of January, I was in what’s called DoIt.\u00a0 A walking SME for new hires.\u00a0 Since then I have worked exclusively with the improvement log system and am now managing Nicki’s emails from the client as well.\u00a0 It’s a full time job doing both.\u00a0 I am being treated more and more like a manager and I am in almost all respects.\u00a0 Just don’t have the teeth.<\/p>\n
Went South for a day to check in on the old homestead.\u00a0 Still there and in one piece.\u00a0 Pam was so cute, she thought some one had cut the screen at the kitchen.\u00a0\u00a0 I told her that the hole had been there since I moved back and pushed the bird nest out through it.\u00a0 I had to walk the entire place to ease her mind.\u00a0 I figured the plac was fine when the door was still locked and the TV was still in place right where I had left it.<\/p>\n
I haven’t written so much also because I forgot my phone app and then couldn’t remember the password I set up here.\u00a0 I guess I am getting old, nah<\/p>\n
